When Philip and Elizabeth are ordered to go through with a meeting that could potentially be a set-up, they find themselves confronted with unexpected truths about their relationship. Stan's investigation puts him and the FBI even closer to Philip and Elizabeth.

first time in a while, I'm going to be truly upset as I know I'm going to have to wait for next season. You just know they're going to leave this one on a cliffhanger.

pretty sure it was the same FBI guy Felicity had captured, almost killed then ultimately let go.

he ordered the execution of her mentor in Moscow

great finale to a great season, a perfect setup for Season 2

I really like the daughter's curiosity twist, that's going to be fun to watch. I am pissed they didn't find a way to kill off Martha, she makes me nauseous

It was a good finale but I really thought Martha would be toast.

Really enjoyed this episode. I think there is a chance Nina may end up dead next season.

He was actually the CIA DIrector of Operations.

THAT is a murder that won't go unnoticed.

Even though Phillip and Elizabeth hate Claudia and had her recalled, she saved their asses tonight.

Great finale. It will be interesting to see what Elizabeth would do if faced with being unmasked by her daughter. I know that Phillip would 100% choose family over country - I can't say I know what Elizabeth would do.

I think that was the point of the cassette tape from her mother. Elizabeth isn't sure either. She plays it tough, but she more conflicted than she lets on.

Best show on tv right now. Can't wait for season 2!

I think Martha is dead by episode 2 next season and I think Stan realizes Nina is playing both sides fairly quickly. I also think that Elizabeth has changed and really loves Phillip. Hopefully they come out guns blazing next season and that season 2 is just as good if not better then this season was.

I hope so, even the insinuation of her having any sort of sex is stomach-turning. But, they still need her to ferry in and out the wire that's in jon-boy's office. But if Phillip and Felicity try to do the husband/wife thing for realz, ole Martha's going to be a problem.

I'm not so sure Stan will figure Nina out...if his ole lady (who is pretty fricking hot) denies him access, he wont be thinking straight

For sure. This was the best new show on TV imo. Such great acting and great writing. This was an intense episode. Have been waiting for the daughter to get curious, perfect way to end the season.

That was a great season finale. This show knows how to build suspense. The back and forth shots between the meet with the Colonel and the tape drop was great.

Granny is turning out to be quite a bad arse. She is the good soldier that just does her job.

I like that it wasn't left with a huge cliff hanger. It set up next season for tons of drama without the cliche what will happen next cliff hanger device.

Yeah, I wonder if they have a change of heart now. She's a pretty strong character that'd be hard to replace.

And regarding the daughter's curiosity, I don't think the question is what would Elizabeth do, she'd just very sternly tell her to keep her mouth shut. She might knock her around a bit and make idle threats about her brother, but she wouldn't kill her own daughter. The real question is what would an American girl that lives next door to an FBI agent do if she found out her parents were pinko commie bastards. For those of you that are younger and missed the 80's that'd be the equivalent of finding out that your parents were part of Al Qaeda and plotting attacks on US soil.

THIS.

Amazing show. The daughter's curiousity was played well, and I expected them to do a cop-out and have her find something at the end as a cliff hanger, but it was cool that she only found folded clothes like Felicity said she was doing, BUT, there is the element now that she is not going to stop being curious.
Compare the writing and acting on this show to The Following. Wow.
