It's a great show. Almost all of the characters do what a normal person would do in the situation, yet things get very complicated and suspenseful regardless.. The daughter storyline is bad and boring.

I think she’s just there to keep Martian in a positive light for normal viewers. If you’re not into this genre I could see how people might think he’s untrustworthy or even villainous to an extent. The daughter is just there to make sure everyone knows he’s not the bad guy.

Just finished the binge, really great show. Obviously it ended on a cliff hanger, hopefully it gets renewed.

Not sure how good it’s viewership is but the show is excellent and I hope it’s renewed as well.
