It’s pretty good and from what I’ve read incredibly accurate to an ER shift/medical stuff if that’s your bag
Its an ADHD overload, usually things are happening at a crazy pace, constantly flashing between different story lines and characters, so it can be a lot to keep up with but it does a good job of using that to really give you a sense of the characters and development of them, even over the course of 1 day. It’s shot in a 24 style where every episode is 1 hour of the shift. Not a whole lot of time to breathe
Watching this and Mad Men simultaneously is like the TV equivalent of taking a Lude and hit of crack at the same time
completely oppositely paced shows

i finished the whole season yesterday. I liked the show. All the woke plugins were annoying, but it didn't ruin the show at least.

I think everyone knows I'm not a poster who screams woke of much. It's annoying but I don't get worked up over it.
That being said, The Pitt was beating you over the head with it by the end of the season. I finished it a few months after it finished airing and made a post in the season long thread about it, it just kind of became so much by the end you just had to laugh at it.

I liked it
Show did a good job of setting up some pretty messed up situations that aren't too overly dramatized in medicine
The mass shooting was a bit much at the end, reminded me of how Greys' Anatomy would manufacture this ridiculous stuff

I think it is a totally fine ER drama but I was expecting something more after all of the positive reviews and yeah this show is just a fine ER drama there is nothing else to it.

The mass shooting was modeled almost exactly like the Las Vegas shooting from a few years ago.
Pretty sure some of the medical staff and MCI staff of that event consulted.
As far as authenticity, as someone else said, the medical aspect and pace of emergency medicine is better than anything I've ever seen on TV.
