"Taken" (Updated Sunday evening)

Its a good action movie.

If you wanna see Liam Neeson kick some arse go for it.
IF you want plot and characters skip it.

LSUtigahs accurately sums up the movie in two sentences.


That being said, if you want to watch a truly interesting movie on the sex slave trade rent TRADE.

I see your point. I just thought taken was a little more realistic than bourne. But i can't comment anymore on the subject. Wedding Crashers is on right now and i think that's something we can all agree on.

That was a good thread, definitely a lot of interest in this film.

At least in Bourne the spraying of machine guns is held at the very minimum. In taken it's another one of those movies where no less than ten thousand bullets were fired at Liam only to be hit by the very last one.

You know the one that leaves him slightly wounded so he can leave the scene with some bandages.

Most of the combat in the Bournes is hand to hand so it becomes more believable, for me at least.

I would've thought you would've gone with the phone call to Liam and the Mom before he leaves. I mean you got all of that information from "Good Luck". Really?

I really enjoyed the movie, except that part.
