Same. I watched it for the first time today and was pretty bored. I guess I can see where someone who is outdoorsy would enjoy it or something but it completely beyond me as to why it blew up like crazy.

Too much dramatization. If they followed these guys and let then do their thing uninterrupted and un scripted, it'd be a MUCH better show.

They all wear the same clothes. The producers of the show make them do this so that they can take cuts from a bunch of different days and put it into one show.
This show has gotten so staged it's almost unwatchable.

They tried to add too much "production value" to it. I don't remember season one having all these stupid face closeups as the gun goes off and water splashes up, instead of just showing them choot the damn things.
Maybe it was just cause it was new at the time, but I didn't remember crap like that from the first season. There are a lot of clips in this season that are obviously done well before (or well after) any fight with a gator took place.

I'm aware of the difference.
Staged is when you pull an alligator into the boat that is already tagged.
