I don't hate the concept... I mean, having Vinnie sneak into the opposing camp could have been gold had he been caught, but it just turned into a dud challenge.
One issue with that is that there are always camera people, sound guys, producers, etc. around, so hearing someone walking around at night wouldn't be alarming to them.

He lucked out with teh rain as well. Probably helped muffle sound, and it put their fire out. I'd imagine him lighting that torch would have made more noise than gathering some ashes.

A little early in the season to be calling it the worst ever, but even with a blindside every week it's been pretty uneventful. Most seasons start out pretty slow though. Things usually don't start happening until the merge.

Island of the Idols is lame. I'd rather watch them search for idols or have some sort of challenges.

The crazy thing is that there are still regular old hidden immunity idols... Chelsea found one by accident.
They haven't shown anyone on the purple tribe finding one... or even looking since day 1.

It is so far, but I don't think it's really impacted the game all that much yet. It did last night, but that guy leaving wasn't a huge loss. He wasn't going to win anyway.

It's hard to judge based off the first three episodes. Some of the best seasons have started slow. The survivor boot camp is a dud. As much as I'm a fan of Sandra and Rob they are way more enjoyable as players as opposed to mentors.

Agreed. The boot camp hasn't panned out yet. I'm sure it will get more interesting.

The damn idol was only good for two tribal councils. Why in the hell wouldn’t you play the thing? Your team may not even go to tribal council next week which would then make the power expire. Guess he could save it since the other players wouldn’t know it expired, but they would just vote for him anyways to make him burn it.

I wanted to sympathize with her because I've had those feelings of isolation during some depressive episodes in my past, but man she was just too much. Her days are numbered.
