If they really did oust the guy over something incidental just to not have him in the final 3, that's totally breaking the entire spirit of Survivor, which is supposed to be microcosm of society. If the players in the game didn't want Dan gone, it shouldn't be their prerogative to remove him
I agree 100 percent, there has to be way more to this. I feel we will know next week.

All Dan’s incidents seem minor when you consider Sue Hawk walked off the show after Richard Hatch rubbed up against her in the nude and producers wouldn’t address the issue.

#MeToo era we live in now.

I wonder if they would even allow Richard to strut around nude in 2019 Survivor. Seems like just doing that would be enough to get removed.
Maybe that's why he wasn't invited to be on the all winners season? Or maybe it was the 5 years he spent in prison for tax evasion.

Litigation as well.
If the producers do nothing now, they get sued into oblivion over creating unsafe conditions, negligence, etc.

Very true. Could end the show. Sad.

Hatch rubbed his junk on susan hawk in one of the allstar seasons. I think she even quit stating that incident as a factor. yet Hatch remained.
ETA: Sue Hawk also left, distraught after an incident during an immunity challenge in which a naked Richard Hatch had brief but inappropriate bodily contact with her.
Also, at tribal last night Janet touched Elaine's tits.

Wait . . . the guy worked on a show for NBC and he got the boot from CBS? This is setting up to be a cluster of major proportion.

She sure did. I actually laughed about it.
I remember the whole Sue/Hatch thing. Pretty weak IMO

Agreed. If I remember they were all having to run across balance beams, and because Hatch is Hatch, he did it naked. Of course paths crossed and someone was going to get swordswiped.

Sue knew she wasn't going to win. Didn't want to be out there and hatch gave her an excuse to quit.

Ill repeat again...so happy i'm not watching this season. What a cluster

It had been on a bit of an upswing since the original grabbyhands incident up until last night.
Having a player removed off camera with no good explanation is crap.

Did it seem like Noura was actually practicing for the immunity challenge when she was twirling on the beach?

I thought the same thing when they went to the challenge.

Yes, but it didn't seem to help!

do they tell them what the challenge is ahead of time?

Not that I have ever been aware of other than when I think it was Lauren knew about that challenge beforehand earlier this season

World has changed a lot in 15 years. That would never be allowed during a modern season of the show.
