Aaron was almost an idiot. Why would he consider going with people who would cut him quickly at the merge? Made the correct choice in the end, though.

I would call those things a durag and not give it a second thought. It’s not a racist term lol.

AS if this season hasn't sucked already, tonight we get a BS white privilege lecture. The biggest bs was Jamal was the one that associated a durag with "thug", black fatherless kids,etc...the white dude didn't do that he did. frick the hell off with this nonsense.

The only thing I can think of for giving that incident so much air time was if it comes into play later in some way. Maybe one of them makes a big sacrifice for the other and we’d have no idea why otherwise.
If not, it was another bad moment in a below average season.

While I have never known it to be pejorative/racist it has been part of US black culture for "ever". The modern name do-rag or du-rag is because they use them after treatments and at night to keep their "hair-do" correct. I think the "issue" comes from fairly recent attempts to ban them in schools.
I do think the "moment" had no real reason to be aired unless it has an impact on the game at a later point where knowing the context is important to the viewer's understanding.

I like to get 3 or 4 episodes in before I comment.
I guess I am coming around to a couple of players. The overall game has been meh.
Fatty from Kentucky is probably my favorite to this point but that is not really saying much. I'd get a lecture from all of the folks if I was on the island for using such language I guess
Dean seems maybe cool but dumb as a rock. Norha could be used to play but shut up. But at least she has a personality. Most of these folks are booooorrrriiiiinnnngggggg.
Why is no one looking for idols? On the island of the idols season? And the Rob/Sandra thing is jump the sharkish. Like paint drying. It would be better if they were captains but could win or play, just lived with the teams or something. Idk but this ain't it.
And why was Ginger and the 2 others crying, I mean real TEARS cause Curly got voted out? don't they know what game they are playing? Are there some new rules not allowing them to you know actually play the game?
Ugh. It needs to get better quickly.

Yeah, I pretty much agree with everything you said. It has been one of the more lackluster seasons so far. Usually things don't pick up until after the merge. With this group, I'm not sure that will be the case. I'll keep watching though.
