You summed up the DC cinematic universe so far.

I think SFP posted something from this chick a while back but she's funny and spot on most of the time. Listening to her about these films is like listening to most of us. Not Kilometers, but you know...most of us.

But many of those comments are claiming the movies (SS, MoS, and BvS) were "excellent" movies.
This is why, as bad as they were, these movies will still be made. Some people just like mindless action.

That was great. And very much like most of us think.

I loved the use of Mugatu. I think that clip pretty much sums up how most fans feel in relation to Warner Bros current shite.

I also think they should table Justice League, hire a DC producer to guide the DCEU, let Affleck do a Batman movie, reboot Superman without Snyder, release wonder woman, and Aquaman, then revisit a possible justice league movie.

But they won't. The decided the plane is crashing. It's headed straight for the hill and instead of landing or pulling up they're hoping if they hit the gas hard enough they can plow through the mountain and come out the other side unscathed.

Does any clip sum up the state of the DCEU more than this?

It's funny...but I want these things to be good so bad that watching that actually kind of hurts..haha

That being said, she does a fantastic review of BvS as well, and she touches on this video in it at the 9 minute mark. What's so funny about this video is that she's so pissed at the movie that she turns it into a review AND a tutorial on how to string pearls since apparently the way we've come to see them fly off of MARTHA Wayne's neck as she's killed is wrong.

Hilarious...

I agree 100%. I wonder if the studio straight up told Affleck, if you do BvS and just go along with the director and script we'll let you do your own Batman.

Affleck is actually a solid director, a DC comics fan, and a good film maker. I bet making BvS killed part of his soul.

I didn't see the Ghostbusters remake. Perhaps others can offer their opinions on which movie was worse.

This.

I havent watched one in 5+ years.

Same thing with sequels like Ghostbusters.

We need to stop rewarding Hollywood's lack of creativity.

Structurally, SS is worse. The editing and pacing is just atrocious. Ghostbusters is at least a competently made film. SS does have more entertaining characters and actions, however. I don't think I'd ever watch ghostbusters again, I'll probably catch SS again once they start showing it on TV.

It felt like a Disney The Huntsman, Thor 1, Suicide Squad mashup. It was so bad especially Enchantress and her brother.

I saw both. Ghostbusters was actually funny and there were great performances from Thor and that blonde chick.

SS had potential, and I didn't totally hate it, but damn. That fricking dialogue.

Suicide Squad had a better Ghostbusters plot than Ghostbusters.

Discuss.
