They aren’t really motivated by money but at certain point it does matter. A couple of bill liquid and her stock isn’t tied to some self destructing junky.

Who is going to give her any power after Kendall crashing and burning? She is a political consultant that is completely inexperienced doing anything else.. Shiv was outmaneuvered at literally everything she did in the show.

Her best skill is being closely related to power. Being the wife of the ceo is closer than being the sister to career backstabbing frick ups.
