Anyone who watched both noticed some similarities with the families? Father doesn’t think his children are worthy of his empire. The son who idolizes his dad the most gets treated the worst. The lone daughter acts like she’s the smartest person in the room in every scene.

That's pretty much universal. Most parents act like the world revolves around their screw up kid.

Yeah but even though she's not as smart as she thinks she is, Shiv is somewhat intelligent, yet slightly twisted person.

Kelly Reilly was one of the primary reasons I abandoned Yellowstone after about ep. 6 or 7. I just couldn't take her constant "angry teen" shite and the fact that she looks 55 and is supposed to be like 30 didn't help either.

Shiv is a somewhat likeable, yet immoral scumbag.

Reilly was just plain terrible.
