You already got caught lying. Season 2 lost sister is the Lowest rated. Episodes 1-6 is the highest average from all the seasons.

Congrats on all the foreign bots rating episode 7 a 1 because of the woke 5 minute segment

Stranger things had one bad episode in 5 Seasons. That was season 2 episode 7

These episodes are mid but not because of lgbtq representation or girl power or whatever culture war topic people want to get hung up on. Those are character traits well established going back 3 seasons now - Robin was an established lesbian and independent tom boy in season 3, Eleven has been miss independent since season 2, Will has trended queer since season 3 and was established as full on gay in season 4, Max was a tom boy since her introduction. Dustin has been bullied for his appearance and demeanor since season 1. That’s the whole show: the kids who were thought to be weird or misfits or nerds in the 80s band together to fight inter dimensional monsters. They’re not supposed to be mainstream in their presentation and those who are those mainstream archetypes (Steve and Nancy, later on Lucas as the jock) develop to shirk those characteristics to join the weirdos because that’s a core conflict of the show: they’re fighting Vecna/the mind flayer, the military/covert ops, AND the entire society around them to try to save everyone. If you have a moral quandary with presenting the weirdos of the world as the heroes, this just isn’t going to be your show and it’s not meant to be. And that’s fine, consume the media that you find personally enjoyable.

No, these episodes are mid because the writing has gone HEAVY into non stop exposition and wrapping up/setting the table for character relationship finales when we still have unanswered questions about dimension X and Henry/Vecna. It just makes for a particularly boring 3+ hours of tv, even if it were the Barstool bros and Sydney Sweeney delivering the dialogue.

Well put.

There's nothing wrong with the characters. They are largely the same as they were in the beginning of the show. The issue is the show has left focus from the 4 main characters plus El, or the D&D party, and is focusing more and more attention on characters that were either secondary characters or foils for secondary characters.

Example: there's no reason why Jonathan and Nancy deserve so much story time alone.

Plus IMDB will always be a better indicator between the 2.

I love how you just used the average of first 6 episodes when we have 7 out. Episode 7 is so far rated the 2nd worst episode all time on IMDB. Only worse than S2E7. When factored in this is only the 3rd highest rated first 7 episodes of the series, trailing Seasons 1 and 4. I’m sure those ratings will also drop on IMDB as more reviews post.

Flavor of your lifetime show. It’s broke you and every other show in your life time streaming. Until 10 shows surpass it viewership wise. You’re stranger things bitch.

I haven’t gotten that for. I watched the first 5 and everything yall have said has been full of shite and a lie. So I reckon the next 2 can’t be that bad.

The season 4 thread looked like yall complained just as bad. What a bunch of miserable people. Why do you watch a show that you hate so much. You’re the reason is is the most streamed TV show of all time.

Again, people are watching now to see how it ends being that they have waited a decade for it. The question will be how much staying power the show has once the finale airs. Netflix is banking on people watching this over and over again. For that to happen they really need to nail the finale. If it’s a dud then people probably aren’t going to do rewatches down the road like they do with Harry Potter movies, The Sopranos etc.

I would venture to say many people are hoping they can pull off a great ending next week, but are also skeptical after the latest episodes.

Once again. The first 6 episodes are the highest rated from all the seasons. You can complain as much as you want but you’re in the minority.

You’re making excuses why people are watching the most watched streaming show of all time. Haha

This is destroying every single show you have ever watched live

How is the rating for the first 5 episodes? What about the first 2?

Some of you really think you are Albert Einstein level of geniuses. You think we don’t know who these character were and are? It doesn’t mean the writers have to keep shoving it down the viewers throats in cringey fashion. At no point in the show did any of the core characters and friend groups give off bigot vibes. They are accepting kids. So move on from the woke tropes - there are no societal obstacles to overcome for these diverse set of kids, as written.

Then what exactly have they gone out of their way to superfluously inject that you would deem “woke”? While it’s all been long winded and drug out to seemingly fill run time, all of it has also served the plot points and character development established thus far. There are a lot of shows that pretty blatantly pander to cultural politics (recent Star Wars releases and many of the live action Disney films in particular) but this doesn’t strike me as including it in a “look how social justice we are” kind of way.

They really suck all the momentum out of the show every time they’re on screen. Jonathan in particular hasn’t served a real purpose as a character since the first couple of seasons. Nancy peaked with her character development way too early and really doesn’t hve anything left to do or grow into.

Which also makes it kind of weird that through 5 seasons the only real deaths of some direct consequence to the main group was Eddie in S4 and Billy in S3 (maybe kinda sort of Barb in S1). Nancy and/or Jonathan could’ve been written off by now.

Just because the sky doesn’t strike you as blue, doesn’t mean it isn’t blue.

Still the highest for the most watched tv show of all time streaming.

How angry does that make you that you’re wrong and in the minority.

I don’t remember a show in decades that was as much fun as stranger things.

This.
Woke is the only thing preventing this from being in the top 5 of my all time favorite tv shows.
