I knew the smell of my golf cart garage and the sheds around my lake house. There's no way in hell that a shed on his own property would be able to fool a 13 year old boy specifically. Maybe a girl who never went out there, but a boy that goes out in the woods and builds forts, no way in hell.

Had a shed my whole life, built forts, built damn in the streams, but for the life of me I couldn't tell you what one of my sheds smelled like.

They didn't blindfold him. He should know the size even if he doesn't have a sense of smell. He should know exactly where he is, even though I think smell would be the more damning sense than sight.

Are we seriously nitpicking about this?

Smell is your form of highest memory. If I drag you into a house where you were raised only until you were 2, and if it retains the same scent, you will have some lost memory of it. To lock you in a place where you grew up is simply retarded if you can notify the outside world. If you spent any considerable time in a location, you will know where you are even blindfolded or deaf provided you can smell it.

I do hope that Steve becomes the next Patrick Swayze. Big fan of this actor... Really all of these actors are great. The casting director deserves a round of applause.

This show reminded me so much or the goonies and the house exorcist.

They seemingly addressed my complaint.

I actually agree with your points here and it crossed my mind for a split-second during the scene. It didn't bother me but you have a point.

Please don't tell me this board is being ridiculous because Lucas and Max might have interest in one another...

The whole thing was so SJW predictable. The scene at the dance where he walks away with the girl and the white boys are left holding their dicks and looking like losers had to make the progs squeal with delight.

Earlier on the series we got them arguing over Ghostbusters for another little race lesson.

I just think it might be cool and beneficial to remove that aspect for a short breather. There’s enough of the government conspiracy, psychic power angle to easily carry a season without placing the kids in mortal danger again.

They should have at least let 11 go trick or treating in costume and meet up with the kids, no one would have known.

I wonder if they would entertain the idea of steering away from the "monster" theme for a season. Maybe focus on Brenner's experiments and who and where are the other kids that were taken.

Wouldn't that a be a huge contradiction of the entire series. Sure the Upside down portal has been closed by Jane. But let's not act like she has complete abilites of her powers and can take on this dude one on one.

The Shadow Monster reminds me of the War of the Worlds movie.

The episode where El joins up with these losers in Chicago is by far and away the worst episode of the entire show. This episode doesn’t even feel like Stranger Things.

This show is about the boys and Hawkins, they make the show special. All of these clowns in the Chicago gang need to get skullfricked by some demagorgans.

It's an extra episode and the creators of the show have even explained this. It sets up for spinoff series or another storyline in the near future.

FWIW, it's not that bad of an episode tbh.

None of them were left holding their dicks other than Dustin and that made sense because he's a pretty goofy kid. He seems like the classic late bloomer that strikes out in high school and then has OT 9's hanging off his arm at the 20 year reunion.

I just don't understand this reaction. It's a small town in Indiana. My wife is from a small town in Indiana. Not many black people there so the ones that are there probably tend to date white people by default. The only solution to your issue is to unrealistically shoehorn in a black girl for Lucas to date or to just make Lucas off limits to dating because he doesn't have a "racially compatible" love interest. Neither of those seem like superior choices to me.

When people asked me about this show last year. I said "It's The Goonies meets The X-Files". It's well done and I love the cast.
