Stir of Echoes has aged better than The Sixth Sense imo

Just watched both movies last night after not seeing them in years.I think they both came out the same year.

However, Stir of Echoes with Kevin Bacon is really a much more entertaining movie for me now.

Thoughts?

It's hard to watch any horror\thriller movie more than once since you already know the plot\outcome.

This tends to be more true with The Sixth Sense since the whole basis of the movie was cenetered around Bruce Willis.

That's because it IS better in the traditional ghost story sense

You mean when you've seen one of the great movie twists of all time, it loses something on repeated viewings? Weird.

Eta: I liked Stir of Echoes... entertaining, creepy, and completely forgettable except for that finger nail snap.

I preferred Stir of Echoes to Sixth Sense even after the first time watching them.

+1

I thought Kevin Bacon was excellent in Stir of Echos.

I don't think this applies to Sixth Sense because it was not that un predictable even during the first viewing.

How about just observational like paying attention to the dialog during the whole movie in which case it does not take a "badass" to figure out. But thanks for the title
