Just hearing or thinking requiem for a gleat makes me very uncomfortable.

deadwood could be the only TV I ever watch again and I’d be fine with it

right…not be nitpicking though but a dollar in 1876 is 30 dollars today. Mose had the buying power of 6 million dollars LOL. Farnum had 3 million
reality must impose. No way he would have just walked away from $6MM especially if it were stolen. I guess we can assume wolcott took it back?
no biggie but a show all about money and change due to money didn’t really show the impact of what is without question life changing wealth for those two in the same way it did for alma for example
Yeah, Farnum throwing money around wouldve been better than some storylines we got but oh well. The show was great anyway.

it would have probably been better to just not disclose actual numbers (same way they did with alma…we never are told how much actual money she has). Or have Hearst strong arm the hotel away from EB under threat of violence.
we are shown Hearst offering Charlie a few grand for his land (4000 I think). And that’s 10 years after season 3. Proportionally it doesn’t make any sense after he casually dropped 100K for the hotel
