Answers to your questions, read if you like:
Nope. All of those supposed contradictions were intentional misdirection by the show creators. Editing tricks to make you think certain events happened at certain times with respect to other events. All are explainable by editing or by mechanisms within wayward pines. I tell you this because you will be disappointed if you keep looking for another big secret like time travel. "The truth" was the straightforward truth. There are some minor secrets left in the show but time travel is not one of them. I lost interest in the show but I have read all the books. If you accept the truth and try to enjoy the rest of the show then maybe you can.

Eh, if it's trick editing or an unlinear storyline, then that will be disappointing, but at least make some sense.
At this point, I will watch through to the end, barring something unforeseen that just pisses me off to the point of walking away.
But in the end, all I need is for things to make sense for the most part. I don't need an explanation for everything, but things have to generally make sense and I'll be satisfied enough.

and telling them about the abbies and how they're perfect predators and lethal killing machines and all that, all while Ethan is in the woods with them totally not getting killed and eaten.
That is the one thing that I really couldn't get past. I mean, how can a bunch of mutated primal humans that can't even make clothes for themselves be a threat to humans? That was really lame for me.
The timeline of Ethan & his family (and everyone else) making it to WP is somewhat plausible with the way they explain it (if you don't care about getting spoiled, I'll tell you how they did it, but you'll get more explanation in the next couple of episodes), but how Dr. Jenkins was able to formulate his plan and enact it also takes a lot of suspension of belief.

I'll pass on that, thanks. We can discuss once I've gotten that far.
