I didnt know she was running Nike as well.
The Force is Female was a campaign for Nike Air Force One shoes, not Star Wars.

Of course this would be your response. Pretending not to know things.

Also they wore the shirts at a film festival specifically for women. This is as dumb as getting upset over Mackie saying captain america isnt just american values in france.
If you wanna hate them its fine, but pretending a t-shirt at a women's film festival is a valid reason is stupid.

It's dumber, because she's acting as President of Lucasfilm, but again, you pretending to know otherwise & white knighting for KK is on brand.
* She flipped Luke with Rey.
* Cried at the pitch for The Acolyte (which subsequently bombed)
* Turned every male lead into a bumbling fool or subservient to a smarter, better wahman character.

I've already cheers'd her resignation.
I just think it's stupid to take promotional things aimed at a specific audience as anything more than promotion, exactly as with the recent Mackie incident that people got fake outraged over.
I get it though, you have nothing else to do but fake outrage since you are boycotting movies/shows

Mackie isn't the President of the MCU. So it's a horribly inaccurate comparison.
The explanation that it was some chick conference somehow makes it alright is pathetically weak. Even more so when anyone casually examines how she unnaturally forced existing leading characters out of the way for better, smarter, more capable wahmen.
More like sincere indifference.

I can't believe you just posted a 7 minute analysis of a Nike t-shirt ad designed to sell merch to women as if it was some statement on the force in star wars being a gender-specific thing
all you would have to do is watch any of the star wars movies ever made to realize the Force is not tied to a specific gender.
here is a link in case you wanna buy it LINK

The head canon you're trying to wish into existence is both laughable and sad.
I didn't make the video from 6 years ago. And there are many others, I'm betting. SW fans saw this for exactly what it was.
There was nothing "Nike" specific about the head of Lucasfilm with 3 other women wearing a shirt with "The Force... " that can be construed in any other context OTHER than Star Wars related.
Because she was on a very clear and overt mission to elevate women over men in her Star Wars tenure, on all levels.

you mean besides Nike starting the ad campaign, creating the t-shirts, and giving them out at a film event at a women's college?
Jan 2017 ad campaign by Nike
Have you never heard of Air Force Ones? they are one of the most popular shoes ever created... by Nike
If it was about Star Wars wtf was Dawn the Don $ chosen for it? what does she have to do with Star Wars?
This is the list of women chosen to start the campaign

The brunch started with a panel of boss babes in streetwear culture: Janáe Roubleau, Jami Ordiz, Alexis Quintero, Zolee, Catalina Paz, Alyssa Forever, and Ro.Lexx. Speaking of Ro.Lexx she's a dope photographer who shot the lookbook and assets for the campaign.
None of them are related to Star Wars

Again, fully involved with this head canon that one was completely independent from the other, and that KK wasn't interweaving TFIF crap through out her SW content.
Fully expect you to wear your TFIF T when you go watch ROTS in theatre though.

dude it's clearly about streetwear culture, you know, stuff Nike cares about, and not Star Wars.
The list of names involved in creating the campaign spells it out very clearly.
Here is an article on it from before KK was photographed at a womens event wearing the shirt LINK

notice anything about the 6 women? they don't look like KK

I can't get over that SEK thinks Nike made an ad campaign to sell shoes based around a 60+ year old (at the time) white woman just because some of his angry youtuber follows told him so and has believed it for 8 years now.

Return of the Jedi is still in the top 3.
The Jabba Luke interaction + final confrontation between Luke, Vader and the Emperor saves it.

Neither can I , because I never said, hinted, intimated or suggested anything remotely like that.
SHE chose to wear those shirts for her own reasons. Never mind the claims that Nike did it first (probably based on some synchronicity between them and Disney - guess you'll pretend that never happens either.)
But where did you even get this idea? Wasn't from me. There have been multiple claims that KK perpetually sees herself as a 30 something yr old English woman, and that's why they always seem to be the leads in the franchises under her.
Daisy Ridley
Felicity Jones
Emilia Clark
Phoebe Waller-Bridge
But all that's just deflection on YOUR part, as I didn't initiate any of it, and it's not exactly germane to the Force is FEMALE issue.

It isn't who did it first, Nike is the only one that made a The Force is Female shirt.
