I mean it's cool and all that Vader will be in season 2, but I'm not sure how the Rebels can "win" in this scenario.

I don't think the Rebels are meant to "win," ultimately. Rebels is supposed to be happening after the prequel trilogy and before the original trilogy. I think, at some point, our rebels have to lose.

It will end with them stealing the Death Star plans.

Loving the second season so far. The animation is a lot more sophisticated than I gave it credit for initially. Even better than Clone Wars.

It must be doing well as this season will be over 20 episodes and the first one was only 15.

I get tired of seeing Vader over and over in the promos and only once in the cartoon so far.

Is it wrong to think of Asoka as hot?

I think the Twilek's are much hotter. Also, according to one of the books, they have some super attributes that make them what's considered the most attractive race in the galaxy.

If this wasn't a Disney XD thread, I'd ask you to share some of those attributes.

I think Ashoka is a great character and I'd love to see her on the big screen in Rogue One. Holding out that Rogue One will be a live action appearance of the Rebels crew.

Does Rebels, as well as the prior show Clones Wars, still exist in canon after Disney bought the franchise? And if so, when do these shows happen in the timeline?

Yes, they are canon.

I believe Clone Wars took place between Attach of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, and Rebels takes place 5 years before A New Hope.

What Bama said, although I believe S2 is only 2-3 yrs before A New Hope. Think they said that in an interview before the second half of S2 began.

We're going to start to get into the juicy bit of the season next week, Yoda time!

It's OG. They are all different colors which is pretty. They are hairless. Their metabloism keeps most of them very fit. And their body temperature is very high.

If this is indeed canon, very excited about the future.

I know they claim it is but the fact that they go out of the way never to kill the bad guys (set to stun) automatically makes me view this as a kids show and not in line with the films where old men are decapitated, children are slaughtered, burnt bodies are shown, and female Sand People are killed.

I was pretty surprised when the Inquisitor killed those two Imperial regulars.

I'm not bothering to keep track of what's canon and what's not, but weren't the Bothans the race that was supposed to have stolen the plans for the first Death Star? There aren't any Bothans on the crew of the Ghost.

I more so meant the fact that the heroes won't even kill Stormtroopers.

Mom Mothma talks about Bothan spies in ROTJ in connection to the second Death Star.

I don't know if stories have connected them to the first one.

Yep, they stole the plans to the 2nd Death Star. That wasn't connected to the 1st Death Star.
