Someone is going to have to explain player 001 to me. Not that I’m surprised one of the bad guys is in the game, but they really planted him there, let them have a rebellion, almost succeed, then he turns?
Front Man is running the games now. Don't think anybody really planted him there, it was his plan. He never was part of the actual rebellion, he was secretly working against Gi-hun's plan the whole time.
Gi-hun's goal was to limit the amount of people that were killed. Front Man's goal was to break Gi-hun and show him that it's useless to try and rebel. He eventually succeeds with that after the rebellion fails and his best friends all die. Now Gi-hun has to live with the guilt of knowing that he was initially trying to save people but he actually cost a lot of them their lives.

Yea I guess, the guys sure did need a lot of things to go right for his plan to work though
Also, Gi-Huns plan was asinine, he really thought a handful of players could overthrow the whole compound?

he thought he would have backup from those korean marine mercenaries, but his tooth implant was found
also, even after that plan fell flat, he felt forced to act because they would have all died from attacks by the other side the night before the revote.

Did he though? Only 1 person max can get out of the game alive

I personally don't think the Front Man ever would have been killed in the game. They could have easily just not shot him in red light green light. In the game where they were tied together they were the last team to go so they could have shot everyone but him and nobody would have known. With the merry go round he disappeared into a room off to himself without anybody noticing and he wasn't killed. Odds were in his favor.

It was definitely a desperate plan.

Not unless they vote to get out. So he was trying to get as many through each round and then get them to vote to go home after each round.

Yeah but they were outnumbered after the massacre that happened the night they stole the guns. I guess u could say they couldve fought that night and voted to leave but the other side had the stronger fighters for the most part so they probably would've lost

This is actually a really good point.

I think the reason he broke into random English is because he is a rapper and if you ever listen to Korean hip hop/pop music their songs always contain English lyrics mixed in.
I don't know if this was just a tongue and cheek reference to the fact that the actor who plays him was in a KPop band, or if it is realistic to have young Koreans actually adding English into their speech, but he produced some hilarious lines.
Overall I think the weakest part of this season is that the side characters were boring and forgettable compared to Season 1. Thanos and his minion were the only real memorable ones.

GI Jane the Green Beret Tranny didn't leave a lasting impression for you?
