I might go tomorrow afternoon. Do you think it would be creepy for a 41 year-old man to go see this in the middle of the afternoon by himself?

Nope. Even if it is, it will not stop me. Weekday afternoons are the best theater times.

I saw it today earlier at lunch, and I was the only dude along with 2 other women who were on the bottom row.

(As I anticipated at sometime they would) They left after the gun barrel blowjob scene and I was by myself

No. Sorry. I'm a shady looking character, and I refuse to see that in the middle of the afternoon by myself. Yes. It's a mental problem, but there you have it.

And I can't get anyone to go with me.

Just tell me. Is it worth the risk?

I thought the first half sucked. Selena Gomez character was useless, and she was basically the main part of the first half. She was miserable.

I enjoyed the second half. I felt the movie shifted to James Franco's character being the central theme, and his acting was fricking badass. It still felt like it tried too hard at times with the introspective montages, and the ending was out of fricking left field. Overall, I enjoyed it.

Nah

So it re-assumes my original expectations. Thanks. I'll just google "Vanessa Hudgens nudes" and call it a day.

I think the one nobody cares about is the only one that shows anything.

So...

this movie was AWESOME.

A couple of people walked out though. One of the craziest movies I've ever seen, but really cool and different.

James Franco

The music was awesome, really loved the opening 10 minutes or so, wild to mellow. It trails off a little and then picks up once Franco shows up again.

Spring Breakkkkk Spring Breakkkk Spring Breakk foreva

It was like a train wreck that you can't look away from.

Very different.

One of the things I left thinking was how accurately it depicts how we got some dumb arse whores in this world.

finally saw it last night and this pretty much sums it up. however James Franco was incredible. even as silly of character that he was playing (and ripping off Riff Raff some), he really did pull it off and did a damn good job. the female characters surprisingly weren't that bad either particularly Selena Gomez, but the main two girls were a bit annoying at times. the story was just ridiculous however.

overall I give the film 5 out of 10. not good, but not awful either. it had its moments, but had more WTF and downright silly moments that brought the movie down for me. James Franco's performance is what brought it back up and made the movie worth watching.

obviously an Oscar nomination will be a stretch, but he certainly deserves some nominations for his performance.
