Yeah, it’s a no brainer. It’s Mr Rogers, absolutely no question. I kind of remember Reading Rainbow, but Mr Rogers taught me and he taught my parents. Fred Rogers was a great man.

Never really watched Rodgers.

Watched Romper Room. Each program would open with a greeting from the hostess and the Pledge of Allegiance.


Wonder how that would have gone over today.

Romper Room was legit...with 321 Contact.

Studies have shown that Seasame Street was a total fraud and zero educational impact. But fun publically paid for programming.

What studies? There are tons of studies that say just the opposite. It is the archetype for all the other ensemble children's educational shows.

As for Rogers vs RR personally, I have to go with Fred since I was in high school when RR started.
