They had Zobelle, the guy that raped the matriarch of the club, cornered and they just let him go because Jax's son gets kidnapped (that wasn't a 20 man job to chase the Irish guy's boat assholes; you couldn't have left 2 guys to fricking deal with Zobelle???). Then they let Jimmy the arms dealer go probably about 50 god damn times. And if that wasn't enough after they go through hell in Ireland to get that kid back, Jax has a change of heart all of the sudden because some a-hole starts playing guitar in the background so he lets the kid go with the adoptive parents. What. The. frick.

It gets way more ridiculous than that. I loved Sons, but definitely had its ups and downs. Outside of bro hugs, I really have no idea why Jax loved the club. Did it do anything but completely frick up his life?

They would have open gun fire on highways and commit mass murders and no one in law enforcement or the media took notice.

I give any new show on FX a chance. I was not too interested in the premise, despite Kurt Sutter being a lead writer on my favorite show ever, The Shield.

S1 - Okay this has promise. A little slow, but far better than I expected.
S2 - Whoa, okay, this was a great season.
S3 - A step back from S2, a little contrived in places, but it ended pretty well.
S4 - WHOA. WHOA. shite IS GOING DOWN, SON! ALL KINDS OF NOOSES.

Then the S4 finale. One of the worst excuses to close an otherwise fine season. It was bullshite in every sense to the viewer. It would never be the same. S5 did a lot to make up for the S4 finale, but the cracks were exposed. By S6, I wasn't even watching every week.

I watched S7 just because I felt I owed to, and it was such a bloated, empty shell of what it could have been, not to mention the cartoonish violence I could no longer excuse in the name of drama.

I think it's very fitting that the protagonist of SoA was literally run the frick over by the protagonist of The Shield in the final scene.

They were awful as a criminal group. Nothing ever worked with the guns, drugs, or porn. Between the failed business ventures and lawyer fees I? often wondered how they could afford rent and food.

Enjoyed the first season, and loved the second season until that last episode. I quit watching the show when they went to Ireland the next season. Watched the last season to see how it ended.

Don't regret not watching anything in between.

Yeah the writing wasn't very great on that show. Got really repetitive at times too. Good show for the most part.
