You are correct on the second part, but your first point is wrong. There was nothing interesting about it. It was trying to hollywood tictoc. It was hoping to capitalize on the money all the regular Joe and Jane attention whores in the country have been making that the Elitist Hollywood Pedos believe should be theirs. That's not interesting or original. It was strictly greedy copycatting.

with actual produced shows ant not just videos of teenagers dancing sure. Also tiktok is literally vine + Chinese spying. So thats a weird high horse to get one.
Its an interesting concept to give people real produced television shows with different length to pop on when they have a few minutes here or there. but realistically most people will just go online and kill a minute or two.
And your weird political ramblings are just that.
I don't get the appeal of the Movie/TV board for people who are so vehemently anti- "Elitist Hollywood Pedos."

I don't understand your position. It was marketed as storytelling you could consume on a commute or on a break. They launched while no one was commuting. Launching without any large screen compatibility was stupid. I can't speak to the quality of the shows because I haven't seen any, but what do scripted shows have to do with Instagram?

When I first heard about it I immediately thought of Devin Banks from 30 Rock who shot up the corporate ladder for pioneering sit-com’s designed for the smart phone that only lasted 15 seconds.

It's just more of most of this website going into the absolute shitter. Can't have an NBA thread on the More Sports Board or a legit topic like this on the Movie/TV board without it instantly becoming a politics cesspool. It's fricking weird and I don't know why people don't want to actually just talk about sports or movies/TV and not their political opinions. It's sad.
