There is some cursing throughout Wool and Shift, but it's not that bad. Some violence, too, but it's relatively mild compared to other books. Just post-apocalyptic images and settings - but I also haven't yet read Dust, the third book in the series.
Excited for this. I'll have to get used to my imagination of what the Silo looked like being pretty different from what is in the show.

I don't remember them being R-rated at all, some minor violence scenes is about all.
Some of the concepts are a bit heavy, but still I think its more pg-13ish than R.

Oh man, I struggle with this too. I had to pause Thirteen Lives a couple times to remind myself I was not actually scuba diving in an underground cave. Lol.
