So are we to believe Adora and Alan had nothing to do with the murders at all?

The floor in the dollhouse was made of teeth to mimic the ivory floor of the house. That’s fricking sick

I think so. They just poisoned their own kids

I knew Amma was a psychopath but didn’t see that coming

I think most figured she was tied in somehow.

Just didn’t think she was doing it with a string of other girls at her command.

Adora made the comment that Camille was most like her. Naw, bae. Your little sociopath takes right after your murdering arse.

And Adora 100% knew what Amma was up to.

I have a feeling we will get a like 10 second montage at the end quickly answering everything we should have caught.

Well I got this right. I think I was also right about Ashley. I’m still not sure.

So the end is basically that Amma is a horror movie baddie that was taking girls out from a bad case of jealousy? She turned on that girl at the end with the quickness.

The napkin that Camille took out of the trash, was that something for the doll house?

Upon rewatching the scenes it looks like Amma and her roller blading friends.

Wasn’t it a blanket/comforter that Amma’s new friend had sewn?

Adora's munchausen's by proxy killed Camille's first sister and basically tortured Amma into psychopathy. Being in a town full of strong women built on a history of women doing or enduring unspeakable things to persist, the culture left the door open for Amma to lead her squad into murdering and mutilating girls from the outside who were gaining too much attention for their liking.

So, I don't think Adora necessarily knew about the murders but she certainly had a hand in causing them.

Alan, on the other hand, seemed like a total cuck who didn't have a clue and didn't want to. The relationship between Adora and Alan was basically a model of the women and men in the town: the women were in control of everything and the men didn't deviate much from the typical. Vickery, for example, flat out refused to even consider the reality right up through Adora being cuffed and walked out the front door.

To anyone on here who’s read the book, is the ending pretty similar?

So I'm assuming she killed the girl in St. Louis solo...

It looked like she just had that girl from St. Louis trapped in a cage or something. I didn’t get the vibe she had killed her yet, but I could have missed something

Ann and Natalie died because Adora paid attention to them. Amma could only view it as a raw deal. Amma, who had allowed my mother to sicken her for so long. Sometimes when you let people to things to you, you’re really doing it to them. Amma controlled Adora by letting Adora sicken her. In return she demanded uncontested love and loyalty. No other little girls allowed. For the same reason she murdered Lily Burke [Mae in the show]. Because, Amma suspected, I liked her better.

This is from Amy Adams.
