You know what else really gets me?! Frank is such a drunk! And the kids make so many bad decisions!

One of the best shows on TV. The last two seasons have seen it take a more realistic way in which the Gallagher kids lives have developed. Their story arcs seem much more rooted in reality and more serious. You can tell at the end of season 7 that they weren't sure there would be a season *.

I still watch but its getting tiresome. The whole Gallagher family is annoying as frick, except Carl.

Fiona is a slut, but no problem with that and seeing those tits.

Kev, V and the Russian has become the best part, at least for me.

Well it's hard to hate Fiona, mainly cause she is a smoke show.

I've seen almost every episode. It requires a certain suspense of disbelief for me not because how F@&$d-up the characters are but because how normal the environment is. For that level of low life the house is amazingly clean and sanitary. Maybe because I've been involved in situations where social services removes kids from homes and their way worse than the Gallagher family house even when the people who occupy the house aren't nearly as a mess. This house has toilet paper, they have milk, oj, other groceries etc.
For all debauchery the family isn't messed up enough.
I still like the show

My only gripe about the story is the fact that as the last season ends, Fiona says it's not her responsibility to take care of the kids and all that crap. The judge specifically asked her if she realized what she was signing up for when she decided to become their legal guardian.
thats what i hated. you spend like 5 seasons of her taking care of everyone then in about 5 episodes she completely changes her tune.

My wife and I are about 3 or 4 episodes into the 5th season. That's disappointing that I read in here Kev and Vee start fighting, but I think we are just getting into that part. In the episode we watched last night Kev had a great line: "Wait, you want to turn upstairs into a titty milk sweat shop?"

Kids are growing up. Debs totally defied her on the baby. Didn't Lip basically tell her that her work life wasn't as important as his, in a very insulting way? Fiona's realizing they're going to screw up no matter what she does, she's worn out after years of devoting so much energy to them, and she's still relatively young herself so thinks she can still have a life. Time to be a little selfish. I don't see the problem.

The fact that there are that many white people in that part of Chicago requires the most suspension of belief.

Still a great show though. One of my favorites even though it's nowhere near as good as the first 3 seasons.

There's actually quite a few whites out there, at least from my experiences.

Fiona is the legal guardian and signed legal documents promising to care for the kids until they are of age. Ian, Carl, Debbie and Liam are all under age. She can't just decide to stop being their guardian. The judge specifically asked her if she knew what she was taking on. She agreed.

Fiona hasn't abandoned anyone. Ian ain't under age, Carl doesn't need her help that much, and she and Debbie have their conflicts not unlike any parent/child relationship. She sure as hell hasn't decided to start neglecting Liam.

Cut her a little slack, shes twenty something year old who was raised by Frank. I think she turned out better than expected.

She straight up told everyone in the house not to bother her anymore and to see Lip with any issues. I would say she's not holding up being legal guardian. Seems pretty cut and dry to me. I guess that's just my opinion, but I'm not sure what other way there is to see it.

So do the kids no longer have shelter? Are they starving? Are they unclothed? Has she let Frank sell them to gypsies?
