NO troll. I'm quite serious. i don't see what's so trollish about the post.

the wire (spoilers).. a series where omer is the most feared man in the entire fricking city where the point where his name sends people scattering, is killed by a fricking 8 year old lol. That's not "great writing" that's laziness. That's a writer having to tie up lose ends to end a series. Or Marlo being smart enough to find wires in rocks and shite lol but being arrested becuase of map pictures . Don't even get me started on fricking mcnulty.

Yeah season 5 was dog shite. the only redeeming part about it is that young michael. But that's one out of like 8 storylines

Dexter has to be the best answer.

That show took the biggest free fall of any show I've ever watched culminating in the worst series finale ever made.

True Blood went from stupid and fun to just stupid.

Anyone that says The Wire needs to shut up. Season 5 only suffers when compared to earlier seasons of The Wire. It was still great. The newsroom stuff was very good and the last episode was fantastic. The only weak part of season 5 was Jimmy "creating" a serial killer.

As to "Friday Night Lights," they focused on the Coach's daughter pursuing some grad assistant or professor, the Riggins brothers illegal activities and the school splitting into an East and West Dillon. Every once in a while they would throw a football, but they struggled to keep characters relevant when they should have been well past high school. The cast remains on of my favorites, but the story just was not good in the end.

I could not disagree more. They shipped off almost all of the cast from the first few seasons and ended it with new students. That was a bold move and it worked for me. I cared about the new kids as well. The finale was awesome!

Grimm. This season has sagged some in the middle, but the last 3 episodes heated up very well. I will look forward to next season! The stuff with Kelly and Juliet surprised me.

Nobody has mentioned The Mentalist? Probably because I was the only one who watched it to the end.

Dexter (obligatory answer)
How I Met Your Mother (I wouldn't say terrible, but not as good)
Big Bang Theory (I know it's not over... but still watching)
The Office (Agree with most that the final season was a step up from the previous few)

I know a popular answer to this might be Heroes but I watched; and liked it most of the way through.. Definitely had its low points.

I may get hell for this but:

Sons of Anarchy

I have been binge watching this summer on Netflix. Finally finished season 6 and will start the final season and finish it this weekend.

I don't want to go into spoilers but the show doesn't span a long time, there are only a couple years between season 1 and 6 (with most of that jump happening in-between season 2 and 3) and yet these people have gone from flawed to outright horrible evil spawns of Satan. I hate them all and can't really care less how it ends for any of them because they all deserve to die.

Edit: After seeing it mentioned a few times, I have to agree with Dexter. It got embarrassingly bad at the end. I had to finish though because I had to know how it ended for him. I think I was better off not knowing, that ending was just
