Watched this movie again last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a little corny at times and the kid that sees dead people isn't great at all, but Caine and Devall are fricking badasses. Devall shows you what it means to be a man.

Thoughts?

Caine and Duvall.

And this movie is a great example of being able to tell a story.

Good, underrated movie. Got a lot of rewatchability, I usually always leave it on when I see it on TV

Best we can tell...

They tried to go through that barn...upside down. Well, at least they died with their boots on.

And the yacht in the quarter acre pond was great.

I dont know the whole speech, but when the kid asks him "Who do you think you are" and then he responds with everything he has done in life is fricking amazing

I never have seen it without commercials and still watch it when TNT or someone is showing it again too.

I hope I'm not spoiling anything for anyone by saying it has a Shawshankesgue quality to it.

I'm Hub McCann.

I fought in two World Wars and countless smaller ones on three continents.I led thousands of men into battle with everything from horses and swords to artillery and tanks.

I've seen the headwaters of the Nile, and tribes of natives that no white man had ever seen before.

I've won and lost a dozen fortunes, killed many men and loved only one woman with a passion a flea like you could never begin to understand.

That's who I am.

Now, go home, boy!

That speech?
