I have no interest in watching the movie but I do want to know about this scene now

*Spoilers*

Basically the villains of the movie are sort of like vampires who suck the life force out of you. They target people who have the shining (which they call steam) and prefer children b/c they are still pure. It apparently makes for a better meal if the victim is suffering so they terrify and brutally murder them. The movie shows one of these deaths in a fairly intense way. The extended version is also much more visceral.

*end spoilers*

I thought it was a really good flick and did an incredible job of balancing the tightrope of being a sequel to The Shining and an adaptation of King's Dr Sleep book. It could not have been easy marrying the two considering the changes Kubrick made to the overall story in The Shining. Honestly, I think it's worth watching just to see how well they recreated the interior of the Overlook Hotel. The extended cut is 3 hours long but IMO it's easier to watch b/c it's broken up into 6 chapters which makes it sort of like a mini series.

A scene in Alpha Dog. But I won't skip it I just won't watch the movie anymore because of what it does to me

I know the scene. I knew the story from 20/20 or some show like that so I already knew the outcome, but watching that scene was so fricked up.

This scene right here. I can't watch dogs suffer.
