High Tension was damn scary. The twist made it a good movie.
Jaws is #1.

Blair Witch scared me because they were all alone in the middle of nowhere. No help to come if needed. I also had a fear of the dark when I was a youngun.
I hate clowns so Poltergeist got me there and the tree scene. I wouldn't call "It" scary but Tim Curry as the clown was scary.

I would have to say Jaws. Especially living in south Louisiana and always on the water. I was scared to swim in the bayou for years as a kid. I finally got over it and am a Naui Master Diver now but man that movie messed with me as a kid.
