Started watching this today and finished it.
Absolutely outstanding.
Irish Republican Army story based on nonfictional book. I’ve always been interested in the subject but had no knowledge.
Alot of young actors are going to spring board off this thing.

Fiance’ and I started it yesterday and ended up watching 6 episodes in a row. This is the sleeper series of the year. It’s incredible. The trailer makes it seem like a fun action series but it’s really dark and gritty. Can’t wait to finish it today

Had trouble getting through episode 6. The hunger thing was tough to watch

Yeah there were some rough scenes in episode 6.

I’ve successfully avoided googling the real events. I’m sure there is some artistic license, but want to finish the show before I read up.

Looked it up, it is not on FX, only on Hulu. It was produced by FX.

It says on wiki that it’s on Disney+. I did some research and it’s on Disney+ in the UK which is WILD for how violent and dark it is lol

Don't watch the trailer as I did, it has spoilers.

I don’t think I’m exaggerating when I say this is one of the best mini series ever. Up there with Chernobyl and Mare of Easttown. Finished it last night. It spans 4 decades and is fascinating the whole way through. It may slow down a tad when the sisters get out of jail and are older but it’s still fantastic. Can’t reccomend it enough

I’ll also add that I’m normally a heavy hater of the “female badass” character but these 2 sisters are fricking bad arse. Loved their characters young and old

Just wrapped up the last episode and wow. Loved it already but that last episode is as powerful as TV gets.

A+ and as good as anything that’s been on TV in a long time

The fact that they were real people with loads of historical evidence put good pressure on the producers of this. I love stuff that has additional reading. Very unique production parameters. I really enjoyed it but totally understand the hate that some of the family members have for it. Complicated isn’t a good enough word. Profoundly unique. This will have effects on future questionable subject matter.

The rewatch of episode 1 is brutal.
