That seems odd to me. I don't like it when something ruins my day.
In fact, I haven't seen any of the movies mentioned or even read the wiki, but just the talk in this thread about newborn rape has somewhat ruined my day.

gore doesn't bother me as much as the rape scene in "Last House on the Left". i didn't want to finish the movie.

I watch it simply because I hear its a good movie and my own morbid curiosity. And I don't just seek out "extreme" movies like these. I seek out all movies from all corners of cinema regardless of how depraved or not they are.
ETA: it amuses me that some folks on here are so offended over a movie they never saw. You're like the old people who protested Dogma simply because they read a synopsis about it but never actually saw it. Its just a movie people.

For the record, this isn't the first time I've participated in one of these threads, and you're not the first person to react like that. To me it's worth being an a-hole to get people to think twice about watching something like this. I think it's a bigger deal than just you and your buddies and a bittorrent.
I'm probably not doing any good, but it's what seems right to me, so I say it.
I think if I was insecure I wouldn't be willing to take the heat I know is going to come when I start condemning people's actions, but whatever, I was a pretty shy kid so maybe you're right.

You must have misunderstood my post. I'm not offended over any movie. I was just curious if you saw these movies with the expectation of it "ruining your day" and if so, why.
I've seen some messed up stuff, but after the way they left me feeling, I now try to avoid those types of movies.
