I just watched it. It was ok. Brie Larson wasn't very good.

How many times are you going to see it?

As many times as I need too in order to form my opinion. I don't like to speak too soon because then I have to backtrack like I did on black Panther.

Well you went from "horrible movie" to "it was ok". A couple of more times and you'll be nominating it for an Oscar.

That's a possibility. If it wasn't for Brie it could very well get the nod for best picture.

For the record, by my third viewing of Black Panther I disliked the movie pretty badly.

I know some people like to do this, but I can't.

I mean, I'll watch a movie if it's on tv/free and it's not terrible. And if I really like or am excited about a movie (Infinity War, Star Wars etc) I might pay to see it again in a theater. If I really like it I used to buy it, VHS/DVD/Blu-ray.

But if I'm not impressed by what I saw, I'm not spending money to see it more than once, and I'm not bored enough to watch something on streaming more than once if it does nothing for me.

Black Panther was one of the last Kodi movies I watched, saw it once (not in theater), before seeing IW. No desire to go back and view it again. If it shows up on HBO and nothing else is on, I might watch it again, but I'm not planning on that.

BP is just an example. It could be a drama, something acclaimed (like for example the Revenant). Looks good, but the film didn't do it for me. Not looking to rewatch over and over to find why some people call it great, because we all have individual taste that changes over time.

Captain Marvel- it was ok. I figure it will have something relevant for Endgame, so I paid my moneys and saw it.
But it's Endgame I'm excited about, and nothing from CM made me look forward to her next appearance. Nothing from BP made me look forward to his.

I thought Thor was goofy as a movie, but I always liked the actual Hemsworth portrayals, so I looked forward to Thor in more movies. They got it right in Avengers, and in Ragnarok and Infinity War.
Larson didn't hook me in, they have work to do.
