re: RW Cancun

I'm not sure if I said it earlier in this thread or when I was talking with one of my friends last week, but this show reminds me a lot of Vegas. CJ is like Stephen, Bronne is a fatter version of Frank who will get 10% of the chicks that CJ gets , and the chicks are on both shows have comparable levels of intelligence, maturity, and sluttiness. Even the apartment kind of looks the same.

Unfortunately, by the end of the season, half of each Las Vegas show ended up with Alton, Arissa, and Irulan chain-smoking in that one room, while the two chicks argued about their relationship. I feel like we are going to see the exact same thing in Cancun

I will give the producers credit for having a sense of humor though. Over the past two seasons, I don't think there has been a single smoker on the show other than the albino stripper from Philly in the Hollywood house. This season, the cast members' job requires them to not smoke or drink on the job, and everyone except the gay guy and football player smoke pretty regularly

The first episode they did that poll to see who was straight and Emilee and Ayiia both said they were, so is this experimentation or is Emilee just secretly bisexual? Ayiia is just ugly as shite so i didn't expect her to be getting many guys.

She is going to get kicked off, i'm convinced, she thinks she is all tough and shite because she can talk ghetto trash, but she's gonna get in a fight with some bitch and her 90 lb arse is gone.

What about the drinking ban and the no contests rule? Can the cast quit the job and get another one that isn't lame? or must they keep the job Real World provides them.

That only applies to their behavior when they are on the job. I doubt they will be working more than 2 or 3 nights a week, so they can still get trashed 4 or 5 nights. They should just make sure that they aren't wearing any Student City t-shirts

MTV wants a sober Real World even less than Joey, Aiiiya, and Emilee do

Apparently Jonne won some kid's show back in the late '90s. I had never heard of the show, but it kind of sounds like a combination of Guts and Legends of the Hidden Temple.

As for the Aiiiya (I'm not making fun of her name right now, that's the actual spelling) and Emilee make-out, followed by a fight the next day, that's about as predictable as Jonne cheating on her boyfriend by the end of the season. Pretty much any chick that is down for an MTV reality show is enough of an attention whore to make out with another chick (unless they are cast as the "religious chick"). I believe even Kiyuuum made out with the mediocre looking chick that Greg used to bring home.

No, the boss lady said that they can't do any of that while they work for the company, because people can still recognize them as Student City employees even while not in uniform.

I imagine that her warning is similar to a professor on the first day of class mentioning that class attendance is mandatory. It might scare some kids into showing up for the first week or two, but by the end of the third week, the class will be at least a third empty, and it's not like those kids will be docked points for missing.

As long as they don't drink around the teens or get black out drunk in public regularly, they should be fine. What are the odds that some high schooler is going to see Jonne or Aiiiya dancing on a table and then tattle to the management of Student City?

I doubt that MTV will pull another Greg unless one of them really goes over the line.

FWIW i've heard somebody does get sent home midseason for breaking the rules. i'll leave it up to speculation as to whom.
