The last one between Turturro and Malkovich was fun so here we go. I like reading peoples rationales.....

Mark Ruffalo or Edward Norton....who ya got?

I think I am in the Norton camp but in googling Ruffalo I learned that his brother was executed outside his home in 2008 and the case remains unsolved....didn't know that.

ETA: Okay, evidently this was a shite comparison....my bad. I believe it was unanimous. Norton wins and I suck. Will try better on the next one.

Is it just cause they both played the hulk?

Norton and its not really close. Ruffalo, He's likeable, he's just not on the same level of Norton.

Norton. Ruffalo has gone out of his way to promote socialism, which really makes me grind my teeth seeing as he's a fricking multimillionaire who does make-believe for a living.

Actually didn't even think of that

I don't think I did a good job in this pairing as the results thus far are pretty one sided....but I have an idea for a pairing that I think may go differently....I will wait a few days though.

This is not as easy as the first few are making it out to be. Ruffalo is a terrific actor. I think Norton may have a bit more range and it doesn’t matter that he’s apparently difficult to work with. I do think Norton wins it for me, but Ruffalo is incredible in a lot of movies. I just think Norton has higher highs. But Spotlight, the Kids are Alright, Foxcatcher, Brothers Bloom, Zodiac, and Shutter Island are all great performances and he’s the better Hulk, frankly. It’s just that American History X, 25th Hour, Stone, Fight Club, People vs Larry Flynt and Primal Fear are all better performances than Ruffalo has done except maybe Spotlight and Kids are Alright. And then Grand Budapest, Moonrise Kingdom, and the Illusionist are just great movies.

Depends on the role, but I’d go with Norton in pretty much any except romantic comedy

I think Ruffalo is a very good actor, but Norton has to be the pick on this one

Ruffalo is a mediocre actor who is indisputably one of the dumbest celebrities of all time.

Norton is an A-tier actor with a couple of S-tier performances.

American History X is one of the first movies i can remember that made me feel like i wasnt a kid anymore. Not sure how old i was when i first saw it, but i am sure that i was older after watching it.

It also made me start working out. So theres that.

Norton is the better actor of the two by a country mile with way more diverse and great character roles under his belt.

I do think Ruffalo is the better Bruce Banner/Hulk with his nervous energy though. That was a solid change from Marvel.
