"Rubber" is a movie about a homicidal tire. Check it out on Neflix.

Yeah, I know there is a "Netflix" sticky thread but I think that is retarded.

At least it wasn't a bland formulaic Hollywood regurgitation, like 90% of movies made.

I guess I was just curious as to see where this movie was going.......... it went nowhere, but apparently I guess that was the point.

If you didn't see that coming 15-20 minutes in, I don't know that to tell you.

I guess I should have gotten this from the sheriffs opening lines, but damn I didn't think he was actually telling the truth.

Yeah, no shite. They really kind of made in clear in the first 60 seconds.

It wasnt terrible...it was interesting to me.

It reminded me of another movie...cant remember the name though.

ETA: Just remembered it. Funny Games. Thats another one where they are aware its a movie. Funny Games executes it better imo. However, I give Rubber credit for trying to be original.

However, if you saw the trailer....you would have expected much more..

Rubber is NOT about a homicidal tire. It's about the audience and Hollywood and how the two interact with each other.

In Funny Games we are the audience that CAN'T DO anything but watch as a family gets bad break after bad break with evil people.
