Finally watched Room, without my wife or kids around, because I'm not a monster.
Holy crap. This movie messed with my head. Especially as a father of 2 girls. I don't think I will sleep well tonight.

Quite possibly my favorite film of the past decade. Larson was good, but Tremblay was even better.

Spinoff question: is Brie Larson hot?
In some scenes she just oozes hot, but if you just look at her, she’s actually quite plain looking.
Is she hot because we’ve been conditioned to see leading actresses as hot? Or is she actually hot?

I was going to post something similar. I guess it's because she had the bangs to cover up her forehead. I didn't know who she was when I first watched that movie.
