Jesus, we should just rename this thread to "name any actor in a role you like them in."

A role they were "born to play" is a role that you literally could never seen anyone else playing; the actor is a much a part of the character as the character.

RDJ is Tony Stark. Depp is Jack Sparrow. Harrison Ford is Han Solo. Indiana Jones is Harrison Ford playing Han Solo as an archeologist. President Marshall in AF1 is Harrison Ford playing Han Solo as President of the United States.

I'm not saying there aren't some great performances listed, but don't confuse a great performance with a "born to play" role.
