Really great animated movie.

Original plot, super voice acting & a script to match.

IMO one of Dreamworks best pictures.

Big Lego,

In 25 years it’s the movie your kids are gonna talk about like we talk about Shrek from when we were kids.

No they wont. It didn't do anywhere near as well as Shrek. It's financial failure actually caused other projects to get canceled.

Dr RC,

I don’t think “financial failure” is gonna be a factor on a persons nostalgia.

Are there any movies that you love from your childhood that weren’t a box office success?

Sure, but they all found a new life being played to death on cable. ROTG doesn't really get that help. On top of that w/the way streaming services have been going odds are it's going to be mostly locked away on Paramount+.

I took my kids to see it in the theater and enjoyed it. It was really good.

The one I loved was Tin Tin.

A fantastic and fun movie. It was the best adventure film since Raiders.
