certainly it is relevant to the beginning of mankind theme; but hopefully they don't just run across some entity tied to a rock in outer space. Scott has said there will be many layers to the film. I'm pumped about it.
if some sort of terrifying avian creature doesn't gorge out multiple livers and have bloody globules and gristle stringing from his mouth as he feasts on them I will consider the allusion a failure.

That would be a tough movie to complete.
1st AD: "Mr. Scott, his liver grew back AGAIN."
Ridley Scott: "Goddamnit. Going again folks!"

Anymore word on a leaked trailer? I haven't found anything yet.

Not supposed to be an official release until Thursday, but the link Leauxgan posted was the trailer that was leaked a month ago, just a better quality version.

The 3rd movie kinda grows on you. It's so bleak and spartan. Th3 4th is a bland popcorn flick although (spoiler):
...the aliens underwater scene was pretty cool.

the third movie has moments of brilliance. the studio ultimately ended up screwing fincher over big time on that one though.

Michael Fassbender is quickly becoming one of my favorite actors.

There was some review I saw on youtube that talked about Alien Resurrection. It was either a Red Letter Media review or maybe it was a cracked.com article. They talked about what Alien Resurrection was supposed to be until the studio execs got ahold of it and turned it into an abortion. I'll see if I can find it.
That alien-human hybrid thing was fricking wierd. But yeah I do remember the swimming alien part being pretty cool. And I always like Ron Perlman. So it does have that going for it.
