I literally just watched a watchmojo top 10 villains thing and Joaquin was on there for Gladiator.

Nice. Just rewatched this a couple of weeks ago with my teenage son.
Gladiator is a top 5 theater experience for me. Didn’t know much about it going in and was blown away.
Hopefully Hans Zimmer gets to score it again.

Supposedly he was supposed to have a shirtless scene in the original gladiator and even back then he was still too fat and when he took his shirt off, they told him to put it back on
