EVS and the WorldClassBullshitters gang aren't big fans of Rian.

White knighting? Lol. I don’t give a frick about Star Wars, but you cünts are still melting about a movie that came out almost 2 years ago.

Rian Johnson is talking about Empire Strikes back, which did not come out 2 years ago, tart. Read a lot more, post, a lot less

Johnson needs to shut his pie-hole. He single handily destroyed the Star Wars canon and the new trilogies with his movie.

Guy has earned his disrespect all on his own.

Doomcock on youtube has a video with insider information that said episode 9 was a cluster f from the screenings. That there are now 3 different versions of this movie.

LOL what a mess.

It's the first VHS film we bought in 1982... that's how bad the film was... retroactively thinking, we should have bought Ishtar.

Setting aside the franchise and what he's done to it intentionally. There's something interesting about the public position RJ now finds himself occupying.

He's best known to many people for destroying something that they loved. Especially the iconic nature of the majority of the characters in the Star Wars universe (especially Luke, but also Yoda, and even Admiral Ackbar was marginalized). The point of Boyega's character is fairly unclear as well but he, like Vader's emo grandson, was more robbed of the opportunity to become iconic than destroyed retroactively.

Anyway, RJ is still in the business of being paid to allegedly add value to the franchises in which he participates. So, no matter how obvious the opposite is true, he must continue to talk about his work as if it were positive and constructive for his company's long term welfare. The divergence of the reality and the spoken explanations is almost delicious when its not irritating.
