Oh, so we're talking about THAT kind of loitering. I wasn't aware of the situation. So uh. Why the frick would you choose to fight in front of a movie theater? It's like a police beacon

you should have seen the edward's movie theatre in houston after katrina. There were gang fights, shootings and stabbings on the reg.

I didn't think about gang activity because I was kind of imagining the Rave here. It's in a pretty rich area of Huntsville and there are always douchey high school kids hanging around smoking and talking in a circle (Probably having a study group to make sure they all know their irrelevant pop culture trivia before they go in to see Disaster Movie).

touche, generally speaking a movie theatre tends to be a safe place for teenagers to hang out or at least for me growing up. Must teenagers go groups of 30 anyway........ wait i might like this rule.

See, that is fine. Just drop them off before 8pm and be ready to pick them up. Leaving kids (people under the age of 17) at any establishment unsupervised till midnight-1am is absolutely ridiculous.

i've never had a problem with rave management, even when saw 3 had its premier and the credit card machine didn't give me my ticket, and i had the recepit, and he let me through

Alright guys, I'm heading out and will update tomorrow. Please spread the word to friends as we will be turning away hundreds of unsupervised teenagers this weekend I'm sure.

If you're relying on the extra detail officers to do this then GL, lol

So... if they can just show up before 8 PM and still stay, how does that eliminate the people you're trying to get rid of?

i assume it works like this

show up before 8, and you go in your movie

then, when it's done, you leave

i don't think they're allowed to be elsewhere after 8

am a manager at Rave Motion Pictures and wanted to spread the word that we will be enforcing a new minor policy starting May 8th at both the Mall of Louisiana 15 and Baton Rouge 16 locations. No person under the age of 17 will be allowed enter our building after 8pm unless supervised by someone 25 years age or older. No children under the age of 6 will be allowed into a rated 'R' feature after 6pm (no exceptions).

I love these rules, keep up the good work.

If you ever have a problem with Rave Management then you are experiencing one of two things:

1) The person you are speaking with is fairly new and is still grasping what we are looking for in guest services.

2) You're about as special as they come.

I think they're throwing this rule out there so they can "blindly" discriminate...having said that I think they're relying on off duty city officers working extra detail to enforce all of this and I don't see it happening

I dont get the 25 years or older.

At the Grand they dont allow no one under 18 in after 8 p.m. Unless you have someone 21 or older to watch the movie with you.

They do this because by the time the 9 O'clock features end its pass their curfew

but then again I believe as the world gets more and more out of whack 25 will soon be the new 21. B/C i think to rent a car you have to be 25, and at a lot of lease places, you have to be over 25 to check in to get your keys. So I see why they are going with 25

I will repost this...

I know a guy who is/was a manager at one of the locations. I went to church with him at an Agape Baptist. He had a brother whose name started with a "c" and a cousin named Ashlyn. He was also born around 83-85. Are you him?
