Was Marvin helping out Vince and Jules and turning on his friends?
I always thought that. Dude didn't seem trustworthy.

Hand Cannon looks like this now:

Keep in mind that Michael Madsen's character in that film (Mr. Blonde) is Vic Vega
Didn't QT want Madsen to play Vince at first before going with Travolta?

After you said that earlier, i looked at the IMDB page and it list Alexa Arqutte for that role

And Marvin was played by the legendary Phil LaMarr. First off - Marvin was supposed to get shot in the throat and slowly strangled on his own blood - over the course of a minute or so. It was LaMarr's idea to have Vincent basically just blow his brains out all at once. Tarantino took the suggestion.
LaMarr, primarily a voice guy/impressionist (as some of you may know from MadTV) has done voices for many of your favorite animated films and video games- highlights include:
Animatrix - Duo
Shark Tale - Pawn Shop Owner
Kim Possible Movie - Assorted voices
Proud Family - Dr. Carver (among others)
Futurama - Hermes
Metal Gear Solid 2 - Vamp
The Goode Family - Maffew, Principal Whitmore, Joaquim, Solosolo
2010 - 2012 Avengers animated - Jarvis, Wonder Man
And literally dozens of others...

Born Robert Arquette.
Here are the Arquette siblings:
Alexis (born Robert "Hand Cannon" in our discussion here), Rosanna (also appeared in Pulp Fiction), Richmond, Patricia and David.
Their father is Lewis Arquette:
From about every TV show and mid-budget film of the 1970s through 1990s.
Lewis' father (and the Arquette siblings' grandfather) was Cliff Arquette, who went by a stage name of Charley Weaver. He was a famous vaudevillian and if you remember him at all, it is in his Charley Weaver persona on Match Game in the 1970s:
Yeah, I probably know too much about Pulp Fiction and the Arquettes. I'm not a particular fan of any of them outside this film (and maybe ole girl in the Tarantino scripted, but Tony Scott directed True Romance).

Alexis was in drag in Bride of Chucky. I thought Patricia was really good in Boyhood.

This site agrees with you:
news.com.au story
Interesting that link has him wanting Patricia Arquette for basically every female role in Pulp Fiction at some point.
He also wanted to do a Vega brothers movie (prequel) with Madsen and Travolta at some point, but it never materialized. The older they got, the less likely it became.

Marvin had no reason to believe Seinfeld would miss, and if he was seen to have a gun, the jig would be up and he might get shot.
Plus, who takes a hand cannon to the bathroom with them?

That's a good point. Obviously all Brett was ready to do was talk. Flock of Seagulls was killed after being completely cooperative. Only Hand Cannon seemed in any shape to fight. Maybe he and Marvin were in cahoots.
I never seriously considered it before this thread.

Not Vincent Vega

When the Wolf throws the bag in the trunk, it looks like he was shot in throat.

Ain't nobody good in this movie, including the guy behind the camera. (Can you tell I don't like Tarantino?)

Madsen mentioned this in an old playboy interview.(yes I read it for the articles).
Also, I think Sam Jackson mentioned of the throat shot, Vincent and Jules are deciding who should shoot him to kill him quickly and start debating where they should shoot him as marvin is freaking out and dying from the shot.

Vincent always sucked at washing his hands.
He doesn't even wash his hands after taking a dump right before he gets shot.
Maybe if he had some lava, he'd still be alive.
