Maybe they left student filmmakers do this episode as an experiment

Hmmmm. Can't think of another episode with a cabin in it off the top of my head.

What kind of wool is this?

I think it's angora.

It's delightful.

I didn't love the episode. Didn't hate it. It was a cool on time episode.

The limited interactions with other people was the problem. Shawn and Gus are best when meeting new people or interacting with strangers.

Man, the Psych threads are getting shorter it seems like. I guess that shows why the shoe is getting cancelled after this and next-half season.

I agree with this:

It was a kinda awkward episode for me. Everything felt sort of disjointed and the end felt pretty rushed. Also thought it was weird that Juliette was single-handedly beating Serbian guerillas like a ninja...that felt forced and VERY unreal.

Just a really odd show for me for some reason. Still enjoyed it though.

It almost seemed like we were inside a dream Shawn was having.

I enjoyed the episode and different feel of it. My only complaint was the ending like some others have brought up with jules taking out the Serbs. I also felt the ending was a bit rushed.

Other than that though I thought it was pretty good, along with the rest of the season

Well considering he edited the whole thing, I think we can view it as a wildly unrealistic depiction of the actual events.

One thing I'm loving is the new intro credits which end with the Cranberry blowing up.

I'm gonna rewatch it tonight. I watched it with my girlfriend talking the whole time last night.

I feel like it was one of those episodes that I wouldn't want every week, but it was a nice change pace and I'm glad they tried an episode like that.

I feel like they could have gotten two funnier people to be the film students. Their characters didn't do much for me.

Their characters, no. Her breasts and very active libido, yes.

The one where the chick spy tries to erase herself and they find that other spy hiding out there by the heat signal his computer is putting out

The cabin the scientist who makes the Thornburg (sp?) virus hides away in

The pilot episode where the rich guys son hides after faking his kidnapping with his buddy (not sure about this one cause I think that one was on a lake, may be the same cabin as the virus guy)

Probably others

So maybe at least two cabins in play for filming. I guess being in British Columbia kinda hamstrings their filming options. Not as many chances for warm santa barbara-ish beach scenes.
