I really love the Robert Howard books and there are a lot of them. Conan the Barbarian was based on a Robert Howard story. Conan the Destroyer was not. I would have loved for more Robert Howard stories staring Arnold because no one else can really play that role. He was perfect.

IMDBsays it was, but I can see Milius and Oliver Stone basing it off of his writing and therefor the reason he gets credit. He obviously didn't write the screen play.
