A lot of work for a theory that doesn't quite work.
If Thade the Lincoln / Thade was just another alternate world then the timelines wouldn't match up Thade being from 2500+ in the bulk of the movie then Thade in 1980 - 2000 in the alternate universe?
The alternate universe theory is fine, but it just doesn't explain Thade being born over 500 years early.
Edited because Thade actually would have been born well before that to have the statue up and running in the crash site timeline.
I could be wrong about all of this because I did not stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

I think Caesar would kick general Thade's arse anyway......

i thought the theory is Thade went through the wormhole and arrived in the 1800s or some time period earlier. He then takes control. When Wahlberg goes through the wormhole, he arrives in the same universe as Thade just in present time, after Thade has taken control.

Well, as explained in the video, Thade couldn't have used the original craft because it was underwater and heavily damaged, thus no way he could have time traveled.
Also mentioned is that all Apes hate water so no way he would have even attempted to get in the ship under water.

I think this goes into the file of "explanations no one gives a shite about."

The guy that made the video needs an editor. Way too many grammatical errors

werent there more ships from the site that wahlberg got into one?

Per the video, there were two. One was damaged and underwater. Marky Mark used the other to head home.
The suspension of disbelief meter is on full bullshite if you think the ape swan underwater, entered the ship and somehow figured out not only how to fix it, use it and finally plot the course in it without any knowledge whatsoever of the ship.

I think it is completely plausible that the downed ship Thade was trapped in at the end would have had more of those pod ships.

This was my exact thinking. I didn't even think of the one under water. Just figured there was more than one pod
