Just signed up for Paramount+ and I am stunned at the excessive commercials. 2 to 2:30 of commercials every 7 to 10 minutes. Plus another 2 to 3 minutes between every episode.

I only signed up for “Essential” service at $9.99 a month. Is there the excessive commercials with the $14.99 package that includes Showtime?

This is borderline unwatchable at this rate.

I don’t mind the commercials so much, especially if I am getting a lower rate.

(Also, I get P+ just to watch pre-2001 Star Trek shows, which have natural commercial breaks. So it just feels normal to a person like me who was born in the last century.)

But are you getting bombarded with the insufferable Indeed commercial with the girl and her dad walking down the street and the annoying way she says “On Fry!-day”?

It is the same commercials over and over again which is frustrating.

The majority of them are for shows on Paramount. I already bought the channel, quit selling it to me.

What’s even more aggravating, I pay for the premium no commercial package and still get two commercials before the show starts. It’s been that way since it launched.

Super excessive…. 0. That’s the commercial free option.

when i watch paramount shows on prime, i get 2 consecutive ads for paramount. I mean, I'm already watching Paramount, why am I getting ads advertising Paramount?

The higher tier package usually only gives me one skippable ad before the program starts, and never one between episodes. I watch it through the app, not sure if it's different watching through Prime.

That’s really weird, I just signed up again a day or two ago through Prime for 1.99/mo @ 2 months, no ads. I’ve been catching up on stuff (I don’t keep this membership) with absolutely zero ads.

I used to say the same thing about ESPN. I’m already watching stupid.

It's not just Paramount+. Or Peacock, or Amazon. Or USA. It's all of them.

I want to punch a MFer when I'm tuning into a sports match that I know is live, and I get the "you'll enjoy limited interruptions" before we show you what is happening. Bastards, I know someone just scored, and I pay for premium service, and here I wait, for 7 commercials.
