Well..... i don't have a wife to enjoy this movie with like everyone else on here.
If it makes you feel any better, my wife hated it 20 minutes into it and went and did something else while I watched it.
I enjoyed it.

Watched this the other night and enjoyed the heck out of it. Samburg was funny as usual and that lead girl, cristin milioti, was great. The dance scene in the bar was hilarious.

My thought is, what if Roy gets him so fricked up that he tells Nyles about it and HE ends up following Roy into the cave this time and it starts all over again
I had to thoroughly explain to my wife that the way they explain the loop, Roy and the Nyles from the movie can never see each other again.
If Roy gets out, he's in a different continuum than "our" Nyles.

I enjoyed the hell out of this movie.
I actually loved that the way out wasn’t connected to karma/fixing something etc like the usual troupe
The whole scientific aspect of it probably wouldn’t hold up to any scrutiny but it gave the movie some character to stand out in that genre
If this movie was made even like 10 years ago, there’s probably some big wig movie producer who insists they go for a more traditional way of getting out the loop

There’s a lot less out there, but 2020 has some gems out there that I think will be relevant in 5 plus years
Think 2020 could’ve been an incredible movie year if corona didn’t happej

Was it a dick move to not go get Roy
SPOILER:
Did you watch the mid credit scene?
Who do you think the girl was on the phone with before they tested the theory to get out of the loop.
SPOILER
It wasn’t Andy Samberg

WIfe and i watched it. She decided 15 minutes into it she didn't like, yet she seemed to be paying attention at the end. She just assumed it would be bad b/c of Sandberg and didn't want to admit it was good.
I still don't understand the ending.
WHy does Sandberg snub Roy at the wedding? Why is he pretending to not know him? Just doens't make much sense, even if he's being a dick.

Man you need to rewatch
They got out of the loop, Roy didn’t (yet).
Samberg ignored him because he’s just another person in Roy’s loop now, he’s not effected by the loop anymore so he doesn’t know who Roy is.
The girl sent him a message telling him how to get out of the loop, Roy thought it was BS and went to the wedding to ask Samberg about it and then realized she wasn’t lying and now he knows how to get out

Alright i got it.
I was misremembering.
I was thinking Sandberg went to Roys house and told him about how to get out but Roy didn't want to. Not sure why i thought that, as it did not happen. Sandberg didn't find out about getting out until after that meeting.
