I didn't have an issue with Jamie dying. More the way it happened. You would think the first thing you would do after taking one captive would be to frisk him for weapons.

I enjoyed it. Lot more political wheeling and dealing than Outlander. I know the book purist dislike it because it’s not canonical, but overall a good first season.
